No more wetting my whistle

So I’ve began my (half)pledge to give up alcohol until my birthday (23rd may), lets face it that’s like a fortnight so good effort on my part really.

I was watching the box earlier on and the new Budweiser advert came on, the one where the men play instruments with bottles of bud, and I thought ‘Wow, alcohol advertisements are amazing’. Lets face it, if the Government were to get rid of booze adverts on our teles, like they did with tobacco ads, then our coffee breaks between episodes of CSI would be full of ‘Injury Lawyers 4 U’ and ‘Loans 4 U’ adverts. Beer adverts are amazing, Peter Kay on John Smiths, the epic black and white Guinness, and of course Budweiser – man I love television/beer.
